The Draws for the 3rd Asian Women's Youth Championship & Asian Women Youth Qualifications for Youth Olympic Games/Singapore 14-26 Aug. 2010 that will take place in Jordan on July 4-9, The Asian Men Youth Qualifications for Youth Olympic Games/ Singapore 14-26 Aug. 2010 that will take place in Korea on July 4-13 and the 10th Asian Women's Junior Championship that will take place on August 13-18, was held at the Kuwait Handball Association on the 20th of June 2009.
   
Dr. Ahmed Abu Allail - AHF Executive Director - accompanied with Mr. Badr Al Theyab - AHF Treasurer - travelled to attend the IHF Congress, Cairo - Egypt 4-7 June 2009. Dr. Abu Allail, sent Mr. Khalaf Al Enaizy to Thailand and Korea for inspection and signing contracts, as this visit came at the same time of the IHF Congress, and Dr. Abu Allail couldn't include it in his schedule. Mr. Khalaf Al Enaizy will also represent AHF in Guangzhou, China, where the Guangzhou Asian Games will take place on 2010, in terms of inspection and any other issues related to the Asian Games.
 
His excellency Sheikh Ahmed Al Fahad Al Sabah - President AHF - was assigned as The First Deputy for the Prime Minister in the Economical Issues.

 

The 14th of March wittnessed the AHF Congress and Council Meeting, headed by His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed Al Fahad Al Sabah. The attendance included representatives from the Confederation Africaine de Handball, special attendance of Dr. Hassan Mustafa- President IHF- along with all the AHF member federations and the Council Members. The 11th Asian Men Club League Championship has come to an end on the 25th of February 2009. The organizing country - Saudi Arabia - took over the 1st and 2nd positions. Al Ahly Jeddah came on the 1st position followed by Al Noor Club also from Saudi Arabia to take the 2nd position and Al Sadd Club from Qatar came on the 3rd Position.


 
The 11th Asian Men Club League Championship is to take place next February 12-24 2009. The Championship is going to be held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. On the 25th of December 2008 Dr. Ahmed Abu Allail - Executive Director AHF- together with Mr. Badr Al Thiayb - Treasurer AHF- went to Saudi Arabia to sign the contract between Saudi Handball Federation and AHF regarding the above mentioned Championship.
